About me
I am a woodworker and I’m passionate about it … I dabble in just about anything
dealing with woodworking … (furniture, small projects, turning, carving,
scrollsaw … ). I am pretty good at some things and have a lot to learn on
other. I don’t think anyone will ever know all there is to know about
woodworking.
I make my living working on Servers, and have a side business doing the same. I
have helped a lot of people and businesses with a variety of technical issues
over the years. I truly enjoy helping people with thing they don’t know how to
fix. So,this is a good way for me to record what I do in the shop and elsewhere
in regards to woodworking, and try to help some people along the way …
About the Site
The site is built focusing on woodworking in the Midwest and will have events,
places, classes, guilds, projects, and woodworkers in that area. This does not
mean anyone else can’t join or benefit from the site. Everyone is welcome and
it’s free.
The site includes a forum, events calendars, integrated chat, and a user submission
form (to show off your work or your shop), Live Streaming (from time to time),
Links, and more.
There is a monthly podcasts, monthly live cast, and monthly book/DVD review and give away
based on the “theme” for the month. There is also an optional newsletter.
And hopefully … More to come …
